I believe in creating a positive, casual, fun environment.
TRAVIS GROSJEAN, PES, NASM-CPT
certified personal trainer & sports performance coach
track & field performance coach
With over 18 years of training as an athlete, competing, coaching and fitness experience, coupled with a degree in exercise science, a nationally accredited personal training certification and a passion for wellness, I will help you reach your goals safely and efficiently.
My mission is to be a leader in the community through the promotion, education and coaching of a healthy and sustainable lifestyle. I am committed to providing a fun, casual, safe environment; superior customer service and RESULTS!
I feel that you deserve nothing but the best that the fitness and health science world has to offer, and it is my job to bring that to you through safe, effective program design and nutritional guidance.
I began on this path through a lifelong passion for running and a long awaited clarity of purpose. Somewhere along the trail, after working for corporate America in sales for many years, I realized that it wasn’t too late to follow my passion. So, I put on my running shoes and ran with it.
Through my own experience I understand what it takes to maintain a healthy lifestyle. I started running in fourth grade and it led me to coaching and college. But, after college, I entered the realm of 9-5, ceased running, worked long hours in corporate sales and entertained heavily. Gradually, I gained weight reaching 195 lbs. I knew that I had to commit to making realistic changes to get back in shape and to improve the quality of my life. Today, at 40+ lbs lighter, leaner and meaner, I enjoy indulgences in moderation, focus on a balanced life, have rekindled my passion for running and have found a new passion in challenging core and stabilization workouts.
Your health and fitness is my passion. I am often asked what makes me different as a personal trainer. I've written much about the topic of finding the right trainer for you, and I'd urge you to take a look at those posts on my blog. I believe in a solid education, well respected and scientifically proven certifications, and continued advancement in the industry. This passion, thirst for knowledge and professional development are proven through my health and fitness degree, gold-standard certifications, industry involvement and experience.
Further, it is not just what client's think about a trainer's skills, but what trainer's peers think about their skills. Staying involved in the industry as a professional, is extremely important to me. Maintaining the professional respect and credibility of my peers as a coach and trainer is a benchmark of my expertise.
These qualities set the foundation for your experience, which is equally important. Every time we meet, it is my goal for your experience to be not only a physical training session that will further your advancement, safely and efficiently, to your goal, but also an enriching, confidence building, fun session.
